Currently, when a Low-Level Discovery (LLD) rule with host prototypes detects an entity that already exists as a host in Zabbix (with the same name or visible name), the system skips host creation.
This behavior is safe, but it limits scenarios where discovered entities are already being monitored or pre-created manually for specific reasons (e.g., custom templates, specific permissions, or integration with external systems).
I propose adding an optional setting in the host prototype configuration to adopt existing hosts when a match is found, effectively linking them to the discovery rule as if they were created by it.
