It's quite popular in MSSQL deployments to have more than one instance of sqlserver sharing the same server (it allows you to share the same license for example).

Since zabbix 7.2 the agent2 template allows to connect to the instance by using names instead of the port (on instances the port is pseudodynamic), so it made easier to monitor those instances.

There're some requests on the forum and even a modified template here that allows for up to 4 instances per host.

Even though it's a great community addition it would be better to have a zabbix built template that supported multiple instance, hence I'm opening this request.
