Currently Zabbix offers official templates for APC-branded devices only. There are plenty of UPS models, from several vendors, which adhere to the RFC-1628 standard: they can only be monitored through a very old community template (which basically doesn't work, as it hasn't trigger definitions).

An official Zabbix template for RFC-1628 compliant devices would very useful.
