Use cases

• Item for collecting data during some period of time
  • Need the data to analyze the behavior but not continue gathering the info
• Migrating the host to other Zabbix server
  • You can disable the host in the old Zabbix server to keep the history and query it if needed

Now you can not access the history,  even though is there, but if you use the URL https://zabbixserver.com/history.php?itemids[]=56488 you can access it.

Adding an option as show disabled items in the Lastest data,  will solve the issue
