Original customer's message:
Dear Zabbix Team,

we think it would be a great idea to have some kind of settings, for example in the Administration settings, to limit the action log details for displaying action messages in general.

As you can see in the image, we do have an trigger action, that is regularly escalate indefinitely until the problem is solved.
We are using a message template which provides some information about the problem. It is also a HTML coded mail, which is displayed with all code lines plus text.
Right now Zabbix sends a message to three recipients so for every user it generates this detailed action step not only in the action log, but also in the Actions section under Event Details. The message is exactly equal for all users.

Since this will generate a massive overload over time as you can see on the far right scrollbar, this is giving a user a hard time to access all information about the event details like the event list [previous 20] which will only appear on the far end of that scrollbar.

Since all steps are identically except the user which will receive the message, it would be helpful to have some kind of setting or a general improvement for visibility.

We would suggest if it is possible to limit the details to repetitive steps to the absolute necessary. In our example we do not need the whole message template to be shown at the Actions Section. For us it is enough to see like the message subject and see all three recipients (for four it might be a good idea to have a […] like in the problem widget for tags).

Another idea would be, to have a new settings tab under administration “Internal Log” instead for Audit log to configure different types of log (for this example Audit Log and Action Log see suggestion image):

• Show all recipients for same message [yes] [no]
