If template are linked to a high number of hosts updating of templates by API or manual import can take a lot of time and just timeout and/or ask for a lot of PHP memory to be available at the same time, provide the way to make template updates as a background task.

Especially this is a problem, if database system is not running fast, but enough to maintain just normal workload without configuration update.
