When building maps, there is often one or more metadata items that can be used to filter/group the devices that will be on a map. The current workflow is tailored for adding one node at a time, but often times the starting point for a map is to add "all items in this group" or "all items with this template and this IP prefix"

An "Add to Map" dialog that allowed selection of a map, then added all selected hosts to that map would greatly improve initial map creation.

An alternate to using the Bulk update mechanism would be to add a "Bulk" option to the "Map Element" links when editing a map, then provide a host selection UI that included filter options.
