Creating generic dashboards for multiple sites feels very difficult today. It seems like the only solution is to define the host groups or tags in the widgets.

I would like a simple way to have one dashboard that shows the same information, but i can filter it by host group or tag on the fly.

Maybe a "Host group navigator" widget or some settings in the existing widget to allow this?

Clicking the host group here would filter by it and show data for all hosts within.

 

Some kind of tag filter (equal to the sub filter in "Latest data" which is very user friendly) would also be very useful, when using tags to filter by site / location.

The widget should allow to select what tags to use (e.g "site" from my example below) to quickly click the tag values and filter by matching hosts.
