I now have to go through the whole procedure...
Go to configuration, hosts
select items for a random host.
clear host name and select unsupported items and enable them all....

Or a setting for each item that makes "supported" persistent, meaning it will re-enable an item after a certain period.
All this can be in one numerical value...

0 = current behaviour
300 = after 5 minutes being unsupported it is re-enabled
