We created a theme "customer-view" for "managers". They only need "latest data" and "views". If the sub-menu items had an ID (like: "Dashboard", ""Overview", "Web", ...) but also "Help", "Get support", "Print" in the right upper corner. It would be very easy to just "display: none;" them with CSS in the theme. The pipes between the items should not be | symbols but put in the CSS instead with "border-left:1px solid #000;". Again, this would allow us more control over the theme with CSS.
We just want to hide things that the "managers" don't need. Just less things to click on.
