You can specify custom alert messages for operations, that override the alert messages defined for the action. However, you can't do the same for recovery messages, which seems a bit of inconsistent to me.

Having custom recovery messages per operation would allow to use different length messages per media, for instance. This could solve problems with length limitations, like in text messages.
