It would be really great if Zabbix supported a recheck interval for items, so if Zabbix checks an item and it returns a Problem status, that it can check once again, but at a different interval. This is extremely useful for daily checks and checks that are run not that often.

For example if you have an item that is checked once a day between 8:00 and 8:15 and that check failed because of a network issue at that moment, or something similar, you would need to wait a whole day to see if everything is ok. If there was a recheck interval, then the item could be checked in just a few minutes after the problem.
