the new flickerless reload is great, but it is not obvious that an element is being reloaded.
for example, even switching time period in simple graphs can be confusing - we click on a different period length, nothing happens, then we click some more times... only more load is generated on the server

this indication should not obstruct or shade the graph (or any other element in screens), it could be a spinner in the upper left corner of the element or something like that
