I've seen from the documentation if "external check" can only be executed by the zabbix server. It really helped me to monitor several items that do require special handling by using a particular script. But when I use a lot of items with "external check", "busy zabbix poller processes" on my machine to be up so high. Is the "external check" can be run on agent? Maybe someone can help me to resolve this issue. Thanks.
