We need separate queues for different types of alerts, or alerts from different sources. This means multiple, customizable "Last n Issues" widgets.

For example, one widget would have all critical production alerts that the NOC needs to clear out ASAP. Another widget would have only dev and QA alerts that might be intentional and that will be largely ignored. A third widget might be for alerts that signify trends that may result in real production issues later on.
