Can you add the possibility of returning the creation of new files in a directory?

We, for example, have updates that are pushed into a web directory. I'd like discovery to be able to return the newest file(s) based either by time, inode, etc matching off regex or whatever method seems most logical.

I need this because I need to check those new files on multiple machines, but the agent isn't aware of how to locate them (at least I can't find an item to do so).
