It would be really nice if you could use macros in the zabbix item "Update iterval" fields. This would allow you to specify different check interval frequency.

Example:

High frequency checks: 30s
Medium frequency checks: 2m
Low frequency checks: 15m

Doing this would create a much more robust monitoring environment that is more able to adapt to different monitoring scenarios.
