It would be useful for us if we could have some form of slideshow navigation and ability to pause a slideshow.
Prefereably something that resembles an image gallery or search result navigation on the top an/or bottom of the page, like so:
< << 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 >> > |
The outer arrows skip to the end or beginning of the slideshow. The inner arrows skip ahead or back one slide. Clicking a number would skip to the specified slide in the slideshow order.
This allows to fastforward to a slide of you need to verify something, or skip back a slide if something interesting came by. The ability to pause the slide allows for some deeper inspection of the issue for a little while. There would have to be some sort of clear indication that the slideshow has been paused to remind the user that the slideshow is paused currently.
This display option should be configurable on a per slideshow basis.
