We are currently using an alert script to submit Zabbix alerts to a message bus (ActiveMQ). For improved performance and reduced implementation overhead, it would be fantastic to have a number of messaging protocols (AMPQ, MQTT, REST, etc?) natively supported as a media type in Zabbix.
