The introduction of custom parameters to alert scripts is a good and anticipated feature at our company.

However I would like it to be extended so that {TRIGGER.*} Macros can be expanded as well. That would make it very easy for us to mange what text is received by the Oncall, as we use the description field on trigger to give a informative text.

Now we need to do a lot of parsing of the message text to get the parts we need and sometime a special character will break the parsing.

But if we could send {TRIGGER.DESCTIPTION} as a parameter that would remove the need for that extra step. We cold simply make named parameters in our script and feed the data straight into "the right place". Hope this can be implemented soon
