Hosting Zabbix source code on SVN is not very inviting for the community for a few reasons:

      • Many corps do not allow SVN through the firewall
      • working with patch files on Jira is clumsy and difficult to annotate or revise
      • Patch contributors cannot demonstrate their contributions except as a footnote in the contributors list in the release notes
      • Heavy checkouts are required just to look at file/revision which could otherwise be published, shared, revised, annotated on a web page (e.g. here is the PG_CONNECT function for version 0.2.1 of my package: https://github.com/cavaliercoder/libzbxpgsql/blob/v0.2.1/src/pg_server.c#L41)

Is there any appetite or plan to move to github or a similar community driven source repo? Or maybe grant access to the SVN repos via HTTP/S?
