As asked in forums[1], It would be useful if a ítem could have a condition to know if It should be enabled or disabled

Example:

I have a tomat template, which monitorize http/https/ajp requests. I have {$HTTP_PORT}, {$HTTPS_PORT},{$AJP_PORT}, defined at HOST level for every tomcat instance.

But i have tomcats which only run ajp or http, so other protocols should not be monitorized.

Having condition like {$HTTP_PORT}, is defined or not empty could disable ítems related wich such macro.

For now i will use the zabbix api
