It would be nice if Zabbix would support macro functions (like substring extraction) when using low level discovery macros as tag name/value in trigger prototypes. Looks like that's not supported right now.

That feature would give us a bit more flexibility when using SNMP LLD and "abusing" for example a comment value to populate tags.
