I'm in the proccess to deploy Zabbix as the monitoring tool for a bunch of clients that use Docker in Cluster mode. Until now I have LLD's to discover http endpoints (sites, api's,etc) automatically using a set of scripts (available at https://github.com/gcavalcante8808/zbx-docker). The discover works by reading the cluster information about the services and creating the appropriate host prototypes to all of them which allows to mount automatic maps.

One option that would be awesome is the ability to receive the template name to be used in the service monitoring as a LLD Macro, which will avoid the need to create a bunch of aliases and discoveries based on the same LLD. Today, if a have a 'semaphore' service and a 'moodle' service, I need to create two discovery rules and each of them have the appropriate 'template' set for the given service; instead, the information about the template will be returned by the LLD itself, something like "{#SERVICE_TEMPLATE}" and the value "template_app_semaphore".
