when a new item is added, it is not checked right away as server picks it up - instead, check can happen any time between current time and items interval - this is extremely inconvenient for items with large intervals, like serial numbers (that are often checked once a week or once a month).

would be nice to have some way to get data into such items right after server picks them up.
