It would be nice if there is a possibility on LLD rule level to extract certain attributes of the received LLD data in order to compose a valid LLD object. While more formats might be desirable, starting with JSON and possibly also XML should cover many use cases already. In particular in context of ZBX-3006.
I think it should be possible to define the scope/path where discovery takes place. Subject of discovery could be array values as well as object names (object values too?).
