Problem:

In zabbix the community is defined in the template (or item). When we apply a template to a system this system must have the same community string as the tone defined in the template. If i apply the same template to a another identical server with a different community string it will not work. In order to solve this problem I clone the template and change the community string

Possible solution:
The community string could be a attribute of the host in zabbix. This attribute should have a macro that can be use in a template.

I think the solution is quite simple.
