When adding a host, it is necessary to separately specify an address for SNMP, JMX, etc, if one wishes to use such protocols in addition to ICMP and Zabbix agent. There should be an option to "Use the same address for all interfaces" when creating a host so that one doesn't have to enter the same address/name repeatedly. It should possibly even default to being selected.
