With mass move, cloning and other stuff in place in map editor, I suggest making links selectable in map 'edit' mode.

If you need to change link color, type, label now:
click 1. Click on the map element that has a link
click 2. from the list of links attached to element find the one that you want to edit. Could be not that easy!

click 3. click edit

If links are selectable:
click1. click on the link or its label. Link edit submenu from map element opens.
