Hi, we are monitoring few remote systems in DMZ that are only able to send email to local mailserver (out of DMZ) and that mail with attachment (attachment is formatted for zabbix_sender) is forwarded then to our mailserver and then imported with zabbix_sender to Zabbix. There are no other way to reach those systems.

Scheme:
DMZ HOST shell script generates file and send it to -> MAIL1 forwards to -> MAIL2 <-ZABBIX script reads MAIL2 (IMAP) and executes zabbix_sender

So, if you could modify zabbix agent to not send data but just export periodically to some file in zabbix_sender format or to cli so we can send data to Zabbix machine. That would be helpful as we are doing it now with shell scripts and sometimes they are not sending good data since different OS versions are used
