It would be great to have in the right top corner of every widget an icon that would allow to maximize particular widget to take all available space of dashboard. After this action, icon of widget is changed to "return to normal view" with action to resize widget size for back to normal. Not sure if in maximized view Escape should be used to get back to normal view.
