Currently, in a situation when a connection is restored between Zabbix server and a Zabbix proxy, the Server starts processing the data that has been received from the Proxy beginning with the oldest data and eventually catching up to the latest data.

There are some situations, when it is critical to avoid monitoring delays that are caused by the Server processing the older data first – actual data should be processed and displayed ASAP, especially when we have sensitive triggers using last() function.
