The php network-weathermap application is an amazing visualization tool. Many people have used it as a plugin to cacti. But the developer (Howie) is no longer supporting integration with Cacti (https://www.network-weathermap.com/). I'd like to request that zabbix provide some type of interface to this tool.
I have used this tool for years, and it is stellar. I've been able to setup pie charts of our DHCP pools that are colorized based on usage, network topology maps with links labeled with bandwidth usage and colorized by utilization or traffic, tables with hundreds of statistics about UPS devices and port channels stats. The ability to popup graphs when hovering over (or clicking on) a link or node is available. The density of information that can be displayed on a screen is astounding. And the amazing part is that it only required a few lines of weathermap code to create these visualizations. It would be an amazing addition to the zabbix tool kit. Others have implemented some zabbix-to-weathermap interfaces, but they are not up-to-date or maintained. I'm sure this interface would draw many additional users to zabbix, just for the use of this visualization tool. See this posting on the cacti forum for the amazing weathermaps users have created with this tool see: https://forums.cacti.net/viewtopic.php?f=16&t=24433
I hope you will give this consideration, as it would be a win-win situation for all.
