It would be great if we somehow could generate tokens which then users can use for their api requests without providing a login first. I'm sure you have seen this type of integration in other products. It may be limited to the use of Zabbix Administrators which generates the tokens with different permissions for the requesting users and the can also revoke them at each time.

Background is on one hand not storing credentials for api-specific users in another application or repository. On the other hand it would greatly simplify the integration in other products which can't use login-auth firsthand.
