It could be useful to be able to add host tags from discovery actions.

For example, two teams are using zabbix, both teams have their own networks hosting hundreds of servers and switches. Both teams have dozens of hostgroups. They both use discoveries to add hosts to zabbix. When setting a trigger action, for notification, for example, they want to be able to easily identify which team has to be notified.

It would be really simple if they could set a tag "team" = "teamA" or "teamB" in a discovery action then use the tag to identify which team has to be notified.

For now, since they have dozen of hostgroups, they have to set dozens of conditions to filter triggers.
