In the web interface, when viewing the "Latest Data" for a host and selecting "history" for textual data, I see, in the upper right, a button that enables grep like filtering when the data type is either "Log" or "Text". That same button isn't there for the "Character" data type. 

Would it be possible to have that filtering capability added to the "Character" data type too?
