External preprocessing

      I think it would be useful to have some external preprocessing. The usecase I have in mind is validation of configuration data. Imaging there is an item containing the configuration of a device. Then I create a dependent item, using external preprocessing, to check the config validation. It would be important to inform  the external preprocessing of the host, hostgroups and tags.
