It would be extremely useful in maintenance periods if you were able to include and exclude hosts via hostgroups/hosts/tags using AND,OR,AND/OR or custom logic

For example if you had the following hostgroups/hosts/tags defined:

hostgroupA: host1,host2,host3

hostgroupB: host2

tagC:host3

If i create a maintenance period I would like to have all hosts in hostygroupA in maintenance except hosts that are in hostgroupB and host that contain tagC.

It could be accomplished with an additional exclude hostgroup/host/tag input window and the logic taking this into account or something similar to actions with calculations and defining the hostgroups/host/tag as A,B,C...

You could create random hostgroups containing only the hosts I need for that maintenance period, however when you have a structured hostgroups configuration it would be better to select multiple groups like 'All Physical Servers', 'All Centos Servers', 'All Production Servers' and apply AND,OR,AND/OR or custom logic etc...

If the hostgroups, hosts, tags were defined like action conditions (i.e. A,B,C) you would then be able to use a AND,OR,AND/OR or custom calculation.
