Webscenario is a way to monitor http content. But with webscenario, it’s not possible to store page body in item and apply pre-processor, dependent item, ...

In documentation, the solution to view body is to increase log level. But it’s hard to retrieve it in item.

If you want to get an API result which need to retrieve an authentication token before getting data, you can’t use the http-agent item (like Zabbix API 😉).

So, my solution is to create on each step of webscenario an item (with 0 history and trend). Each webscenario check will push result body in item. So, we will be able to manipulate data in dependent item (like extract data on webpage with preprocessor).
