Graphs currently show dates in European format of day/month/year sort of thing which is a challenge to Americans and Chinese who use the other way; makes it hard to see when things happen in graphs. So a feature to set the format would be nice.

But even better is to set the format in different ways - we patch the system to provide day of the week, too, so we use "T-02/03" for Tuesday, February 3 - this is very helpful to see weekends, what day on a big graph, etc. We used to also use Tue-2/03, etc. so there are several options, but adding the day is very helpful to us.

Another goal is to shorten the length, hence the short name, since we have too much space taken up by it, so we only show this data at the ends of the graph and at date changes (very easy in the code), and time in hh:mm in between - far better than the standard system.
