Why having flag and boolean as 2 different types of parameters in the API

      I don't get what can be achived with one that can't be with the other, and it introduce some confussion

      Type Description
      boolean A boolean value, accepts either true or false.
      flag The value is considered to be ​true​ if it is passed and not equal to ​null​ and ​false​ otherwise.
