a logitem defined with 'skip' option gets lines of an application only writing 'MM/dd h:mm:ss' as timestamps (YYYY is missing in the logs). Given the skip option, it is pretty save to assume that the current year will be used. The only way I can get the date accepted is by forcing a hard coded (in this case 2021) into the line using the return fields of the logitem. It would be very nice if zabbix would give an option to ignore missing years or to automagically enter the year for us. Current system year looks like pretty save to me.
