Give the ability to have multiple hosts with the same visible name can be useful in a multi-tenants environments where customers have rights on own hostg roups and VMs have unique hostname (maybe based on UUID on cloud infrastructure) and common DNS name in customer network, like webserver1, dbserver1 etc…

Unique visible name can be gathered by adding a prefix on host name like “webserver1 [Customer 1]” but is bad readable on frontend and add unuseful information in notifications to customers.

Have multiple hosts with same visible name is a issue only for a SuperAdmin users that have the ability and knowledge to use filtering in host visualization.

This feature could be added as option on global configuration (like “permit duplicated visible name”), default disabled and to be enabled only on needment.
