There are a lot of people who use the Microsoft Excel to process historical data gathered by Zabbix. I have a fantastic idea to use MS Excel book as datastore!
Just imagine it! You have a simple file that can be open anywhere just with Excel application, you can use built-in functions to process data, draw visualisations etc. Also, it has built-in powerful programming language, that can be used for many cases of data manipulations - VBA!
