When a Discovery proces is performed and then hosts are created automatically, it is only allowed to set the inventory in 3 modes, but in manual mode it is not allowed to populate the fields using the LLD Macros. As consecuence you are forced to generate a new query within each host, generating an overload in the use of APIs when the same information can be included in the Discovery stage. In general, the inventory information does not change, making this way of working more effective, especially when working with APIs to create hosts.
