Please add trigger Replication: Status and Replication: Lag in seconds (with macros, default value 1 min) in template PostgreSQL Agent 2.

The reasons:

• Backup database from replica.
• Read only select query from replica.
• Switch replica to master.

 
Therefore It's important to understand that replica works fine.
