Currently, the item data I'm able to input on Top Hosts widget is only for an specific item. I'm not able to use item patterns for the item field.

If I try to use a wildcard, it fails to find the item data.

The item pattern feature is available with Graph widgets, though.

Without that feature, when using items that have slightly different names, the widget does not display all the data.

I believe the item pattern feature would be a great benefit for Top Hosts widget on Zabbix dashboards.
