Seems a little confusing or complex, maybe there is another way around.

To monitor a single service/product, basically, I have 3 templates, and 3 hosts. Where each host has a one of the templates. But, as I have several environments (different regions + testing, development, production), creating/cloning/updating a dashboard for each environment is very annoying.

Each template has very simple and similar items. A log file, status of a process, and some statistics that are perfect to keep track if the process need to be restarted or something.

So, it will be great to have a feature to have a dashboard, or pages within that can keep sync of any modification, and keeping the templates/hosts is related to.
