We have a dedicated network management system for managing all customer related data. To get traffic graphs, error graphs available we use the api to identify the items and create links directly into zabbix to avoid creating duplicated graphs.

With version 5.4 everything works fine. After the ChartsView got redesigned it no longer works as graphs could not be passed to the URL directly. We now use tags but still have the issue that we cannot set host (filter) and the tags (subfilter) within one request.

On our servers I implemtened the attached patch to overcome this. Hopefully you can implement this workaround also to make it more easy to interact with 3rd party systems more easy.
