Another useful feature could be conditional template linking from host discovery/prototype in a way, that it could be e.g. tag-based. For example:

• e.g. Azure by HTTP could conditionally link also respective OS variant Zabbix agent template based on the value of the tag {#OS}
• respective host interfaces could be configured automatically according to item types used in the template (ZBX/Agent interface type in this case), with IP address or DNS also based on specified LLD macro

Current workaround (breaking DRY principle) is:

• clone(+rename) discovery rule multiple times
• add various filtering options for {#OS} in respective discovery rule branches
• link different templates for different discovery rules

This case is just an example, feature could be usable in and with any templates.
